Life Skills

This class is for older puppies as well as adult dogs - no upper age limit! One of the dogs coming to this session is 8 years old and still loving her training days. 

Apart from the Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, the dogs and handlers in these classes will be achieving our Beginner, Novice and Advanced certificates. These cover necessary Life Skills for dogs learning to live and thrive in our busy complex human world. 

Some of the things covered are: being able to be examined and groomed; behaving calmly in busy places such as a pet shop, walking near traffic and keeping focus on the handler; coming way from other dogs when called.
